The Delightful Dog believes that each dog is an individual. Instead of adhering strictly to a method, our training is guided by principles that are used to customize training to your dog’s personality, drives, motivations, and needs.
How one motivates an intrinsically driven herding dog, bird dog, bitesport dog, and lap dog can require different skills and applications. At the same time, skill sets often transfer in some way as a wide overview of motivating behavior. In the case of less motivated dogs, we may have to get more creative in our approach.
